I am an Italian theatre director and choreographer based in Brussels. My work moves between performance, choreography and dramaturgy, exploring how bodies, images and environments shape perception.
I graduated in Modern Literature and Philosophy from the University of Bergamo before studying Theatre Direction and Scenography at Université Bordeaux Montaigne. Since 2015, I have developed my own artistic projects across France, Belgium and Italy. I founded Compagnie Heimat (2016–2018) and later co-founded and directed the Brussels-based collective vitamina (2018–2025), creating performances that toured internationally and investigated hyperconnectivity, excess, desire and contemporary forms of attention.
Alongside my own creations, I have worked as a dramaturg, assistant director and scenographer, collaborating with artists including Matteo Sedda and Jan Fabre. Between 2015 and 2019, I was involved in several productions by Troubleyn, including Mount Olympus, Belgian Rules/Belgium Rules and The Generosity of Dorcas.
In recent years, my research has gradually shifted away from the accelerated rhythms of digital culture towards slowness, contemplation and altered states of attention. Through choreography, sound and video, I am interested in creating situations where perception can expand, drift and reorganise itself. Boredom, waiting and silence have become central materials in my work.
Alongside my artistic practice, in 2025, I collaborated with the dance production centre S’ALA in Sardinia on the international distribution of supported projects. Since 2026, I have also been developing curatorial work alongside my artistic practice.
